For the first time, the Rancilio Silvia is equipped with two boilers; one to heat water for brewing coffee, and another for hot water and steam.

The added pressure gauge allows for real-time pressure readings in the boiler.
If you choose to activate the soft pre-infusion feature, you can infuse the coffee grounds with lower pressure between 0-6 seconds before ramping up to optimal brewing pressure for espresso, achieving the most taste from all blends of beans as well as single-origin coffees.
